All Sewn Up!

I finished my quilt top for Old Red Barn's Quilt along last night. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the results. I did learn a few things:
  • I'm not very good at random (I couldn't help but get a couple of the same fabrics touching)

  • I sew just a little more carefully when I know that somebody other than myself is going to see the back (thanks again Marianne!)

  • I really do love bright colours!

And Marianne, from Marianne Penner Designs in Abbotsford, BC, has just started her own blog. Marianne is the long-arm quilter who offered free long-arm quilting to one ORB participant - and I won! Please go and say hello! Thanks again Marianne for such a generous give-away!

No worries, I'm sure the back of the top will be just fine. Your quilt top looks great! my favorite colorway from Flights of Fancy, for sure. Have you decided on backing fabric yet? Oh, and thanks for mentioning my new blog.
