Anyway, before this post gets any more negative, I'll show you what I've been working on for the last couple of nights (I am a nap time/bedtime quilter after all). It is my mini quilt for the Good Ol' Summertime Swap hosted by Michelle at the Quilting Gallery.
My partner asked for something fun and fanciful and likes fairies and mermaids. My initial reaction to this task was to make something with my beautiful Heather Ross Mendocino prints that I have been hoarding, but I don't think that they are really my partner's style. I hope that this will work for her.
She should be finished tonight...just have to finish a bit of quilting, then bind and make a label. Maybe I can even get her in the mail tomorrow. Whew, it would feel wonderful to actually finish something.
Up next, I'm going to tackle all of my other WIP's:
- Doll Quilt Swap 7
- Crazy Mom Quilts 9-patch (yes, from the first round)
- Blocks for Rachel for the Stash Busting Bee International
- Block for Krista for bee inspired
- Quilt for my sister's wedding. I've already told her it will be late.
Should keep me busy while my husband is away hunting next week!

You are SO talented! Beautiful!
I just came to visit after seeing the name of your post over on your comment at the Quilt Gallery. I know what you mean about being a good starter and needing deadlines!! I would really love to make a dent in my WIPs. Maybe we need to start a club, WIPs Anonymous. Hi, I'm Trisha and I am a starter. LOL Love your mermaid quilt. It is amazing!
