I started a new project yesterday. And no, I haven't finished any of my UFOs. I used this great pattern from Handmade by Alissa. I dug into some of my favourite prints for the centre squares. After doing quite a bit of improv/wonky piecing, it was very relaxing to just follow a pattern. I think I'm going to like how this one turns out.
And on a totally non-quilting related topic, we sold our house on Friday. Yay. Now we are moving up. Well, up north anyway. But I'm not going to pack my sewing machine away until the last minute. I promise I'll keep up/catch up on my VQB blocks.
Have a great Sunday!

What a cute quilt idea. I can't wait to see the finished quilt. From the look of those blocks, it's going to be adorable!
Congrats on selling your house and best of luck with your upcoming move!
I love fussy cut center squares.
Beautiful squares. Your quilt will look amazing!
Love this quilt pattern with the fussy cut centers! Can't wait to see how it finishes. Congratulations on the house sale. Ours is going on the market this weekend. Keeping it picked up has really cramped my quilting style ;-)
