Sew Mama Sew Give-Away!

The give-away is now closed! Thanks for entering. A winner will be posted soon.

It's Give-Away Time! Up for grabs is a Youth Small White T-shirt (should fit a 4 or 5 year old) with a Heather Ross dog appliqued on the front. I machine appliqued him on and I pre-washed it too...Here's that cute little dog. I think he's worried a bigger dog will take his ball. Don't you just love Heather Ross? I've developed an unhealthy obsession. Here's the t-shirt label:
And because you can never have enough Heather Ross, I'm throwing in 2 fat quarters.

Yellow tadpoles in jars:
And green horses. I LOVE the horses.
Give-away open until May 31 at 9pm PST. Winner will be drawn randomly. But so that I can get to know you, let me know your name, where you are from, and what fabric/craft supply you are currently obsessed with. And if you aren't obsessed with fabric or yarn or any other craft supply please let me know how you have avoided it...really I need help!
So here is my example:
Hi, I'm Barb from Beautiful British Columbia, Canada. As you can probably tell, I really love Heather Ross. I love the dogs, I love the horses, I love the little equestrian riders and their clothes. Oh, and I love the little dolls, and the VW vans and the entire Far Far Away...
Good Luck! (and sorry for the dark pictures, it's night-time...)

My name is Amanda from Brisbane, Australia. I am absolutely obsessed with euro patterns and can't get enough of them.

As for how to avoid going crazy buying craft supplies and material - I say why fight it ;-) Resistence is futile lol!

Krista from Anchorage AK but soon moving!!

I am totally obsessed with black and white fabric right now. I can't stop buying it....seriously!

To avoid buying fabric, have a husband that spends your whole bank account down to a few pennies right after pay day...that keeps you out of the fabric store for a few weeks!

Hi, I'm Courtney from San Antonio and I'm a fabricholic! It doesn't even matter what kind or designer or anything, just fabric! Although I've recently discovered a local fabric shop that only sells cottons for quilting and carry's a lot of the "big names" amy buttler, heather ross etc. I've forbidden myself from going back though, until I make a dent in this HUGE sewing pile of mine! Oh, and vintage/reclaimed fabrics are great too - bed sheets and pillowcases from good will!

Hi I'm Amy and I am from Bountiful, Utah. I love fabric! But I have strange issues. We don't have a very good selection of fabric stores in the area. I drool over the lovely prints on fabric online, but I have to be able to feel it before I buy it. So I haven't made the jump to buying any fabric online yet. But I do love reusing vintage clothing items.

Thanks for the giveaway, if I am the lucky winner, you can contact me through my website www.radseams.com.

I'm Brooke and I live in Milwaukee, WI. I love just about anything Moda. I grew up learning how to see for 4-H, but was bitten by the quilting bug about 4 years ago. I have found myself in the middle of an unexpected project. On a whim, I made a bib, bootie, burp rag and onesie set for my pregnant cousin and all of a sudden it has turned it to much more. Yea for SMS and me finding another blog to enjoy!

Hi I am Candice from Missouri. I have just started sewing and doing fabric crafts so no obsessions yet...

Jacqui said... 175

I'm Jacqui from Auckland, New Zealand. Currently I'm obsessed with wool felt and what I can do with it - so far felt crowns and felt bunnies but the possibilities are endless (sadly). I'm also obsessed with my first quilt which I'm doing slowly and painfully as I obsess over what fabrics go with what. I also adore Heather Ross's fabric so your giveaway is really exciting! Crossing fingers and toes :)

Ilona said... 176

I'm Ilona from The Netherlands. I've never heard of Heather Ross, but it's lovely fabric! I'm not so much into machine sewing (yet). As I have a crappy machine, and no money to buy a fancy one yet, I'm avoiding it as much as I can. But sometimes I try, because it's just too tempting! Recently I've been doing some felt crafts, because THAT I can do by hand LOL and still call it sewing :)

CUTE fabric! I have never seen that tadpole print before.

I am Vanessa from Austin, Texas (here for school, I am really from southern California!) Right now, I am obsessed with tutorials. My favorite thing is perusing all the blogs and finding sweet tutorials of things I want to make. I am a poor graduate student, so that really limits how much I can spend at the craft store...I can't wait til I have a real job and have extra spending money for my hobbies!

I'm abby. I'm from West St. Paul, MN. My obsession lately is the remenant bin at the fabric stores. I suppose this is a good thing because it's cheaper than fabric off the bolt but when I buy half the bin...well not so cheap anymore. I've been buying it because I've been into all things patchwork and I only need small pieces/scraps but I do need a good variety of colors and patterns so the remenant bin is my new best friend.

you can contact me at abby at monkeyouttanowhere dot com. thanks for the give away!
