Give-Away Day

This Give-away is now closed. Thank you to all that entered. The winner will be announced soon.

2009 has been the year of the Doll Quilt for me. I made my first in January for my daughter's Cabbage Patch doll. Since then I've participated in a bunch of swaps. I LOVE Doll Quilts. So I thought I'd keep it going right through the holiday season by giving away....a Doll Quilt!I whipped this up last night and I still haven't decided if I want it crisp or if I should wash it and make in nice and crinkly. So I reserve the right to wash it before I mail it. If you are absolutely opposed to this please let me know in your comment. And I'll throw in a couple of Fat Quarters too.

Leave a comment for an entry to win. Please tell me where you are from and what you want for Christmas. Or just say hi! I'll give followers a second entry so please let me know in a separate comment if you are a follower of if you become one.
I'm happy to ship anywhere in this beautiful world of ours. Winner will be drawn December 6 by that fancy random number generator thingy. Good Luck!

What a great doll quilt. I have a mother in law with Alzheimer's and I made a doll quilt for her dolly.
I hail from your neighbouring province Alberta where the snow is falling in buckets today.
I am looking forward to some time to quilt over the Christmas break as I am a Kindergarten teacher.
Warmest regards from A Western Canadian Quilter,
Anna

Hello from back woods Massachusetts!
I love the quilt, beautiful. I'm totally into the wonky friendship stars and love Heather Ross!
What I want for Christmas? That new digital point and shoot camera that has the lcd screen on the front too. I often do the 'hey let's take a picture' & hold out my arm. It doesn't often work well so that would help!
Thanks for the generous giveaway!

Lovely. I quite like the washed, crinkly look myself. I'm in richmond, you must be in northern or eastern BC to have snow. I feel somewhat envious as I want my kiddo to see snow. A pedicure and a new pair of scissors are on my xmas list! Happy holidays.

This is lovely! (And I think it would look great washed!)

For Christmas, I am hoping for a crocheted scarf from my momma and a knitted cap from my sister -- everything else is icing on the cake!

I live in Troy, New York, 2.5 hours north of NYC on the Hudson River.

Your quilt is beautiful and looks great against your snowy background.
I'm from Seattle, WA and for Christmas I would like our troops to be reunited with their families. (And I don't mean that as a political statement at all, just as a wish for an ideal.)

Beautiful doll quilt! I think washed and crinkly is best - makes it just seem more cozy.

Fun quilt! I've been thinking of making one with wonky stars like this. And I would love it if you wash it first. The more crinkly the better!
