I've discovered....

the cure to perfectionism!

1.  A two month old baby who loves to be held (and a mama who loves to hold her).

2.  In set seams. Enough said.

In set seams...how hard can they be?

3. And a deadline. I'm working on it. I promise.

A hot pad/table topper for my SUTK partner

I totally relate! My daughter is now almost seven months and it's still hard to get sewing done! Oh well. I just cherish this time now because before long she won't want mommy to huh and kiss her like she does now.

lOve all those fabrics! Baby comes first, but hopefully you've got an understanding partner and they'll really appreciate your efforts to get this done with a newborn in hand!!

Love your hexies !! Yes babies do come first as do children.. Enjoy this time with your kids it goes by fast really fast. I wish I had sewed less and played more with my kids now that they are all grown and gone !!!!!!!!

This is gorgeous! I'm entirely not brave enough to try hexagons. Much too scary for me : )
