Give-Away Day

This Give-away is now closed. Thank you to all that entered. The winner will be announced soon.

2009 has been the year of the Doll Quilt for me. I made my first in January for my daughter's Cabbage Patch doll. Since then I've participated in a bunch of swaps. I LOVE Doll Quilts. So I thought I'd keep it going right through the holiday season by giving away....a Doll Quilt!I whipped this up last night and I still haven't decided if I want it crisp or if I should wash it and make in nice and crinkly. So I reserve the right to wash it before I mail it. If you are absolutely opposed to this please let me know in your comment. And I'll throw in a couple of Fat Quarters too.

Leave a comment for an entry to win. Please tell me where you are from and what you want for Christmas. Or just say hi! I'll give followers a second entry so please let me know in a separate comment if you are a follower of if you become one.
I'm happy to ship anywhere in this beautiful world of ours. Winner will be drawn December 6 by that fancy random number generator thingy. Good Luck!

Cute! Love the snow in the photo...I'm ready for that! I'm in southern Indiana. Gosh, for Christmas I just want to be able to hang around my house and be happy with my family. I'm a simple person, don't need much more than that. Although, a nice cutting board for my kitchen would be nice...

Happy Wednesday! :)

Michele said... 13

Jerri said... 26

Beautiful quilt! I'm in Florida, and for Christmas I would love a years supply of toilet brush refills, vacuum bags, toothpaste and laundry soap. I seriously think I would waste less time shopping and more time using the cleaning supplies if I didn't have to drag all the kids to the store to buy these things when they run out- which is never simultaneously.

Shannah said... 27

Lovely star! It would go well in my Texas home... :)

For Christmas this year I want a snuggie. Like the ones on the TV infomercials. They look so warm.

Needled Mom said... 28

It looks so pretty with the snowy background. I do think that the freeform scrappy star is rapidly becoming one of my favorite patterns. I just finished a Christmas quilt using it and loved working on it.

The only thing I have asked for is to have my kids give me updated photos of each of our 21 grandchildren. That's all I want or need. We are blessed.

Melissa said... 29

I have three little girls who would love a doll quilt! I'm from small town Utah and all I want for Christmas is to finish all my projects that I'm hoping to give this year.
Thanks!

Oh my gosh this is so cute! I love doll quilts. I'm from Texas and we don't really do presents but I've got my eye on some fabrics and think I might treat myself!

~Michelle~ said... 42

Ooh, great doll quilt - I would hang it on the wall of my craft room (whenever it gets put in order, that is)... but anyway, I already bought myself my Christmas present - an iphone. Hubs is wanting to get his new speakers for the new townhouse - but we need to get the walls painted before the entertainment center can be set up anyway! And I wouldn't mind having a giftcard to Lowes, we're bleeding money there right now with our improvements. One of these days I will be able to be frivolous and buy the $200 faucet for the 1/2 bathroom... *sigh*

Oh, what a pretty little thing!

I am in Utah, and for Christmas I want a laptop to replace this ridiculous dinosaur of a desktop I've been using!

I'm from beautiful BC too! And I'd like an earring organizer for Christmas :)

Wow you whipped that up fast! That's amazing. I have been thinking about participating in a doll quilt swap but haven't done it yet. Maybe in the New Year! It looks like fun.

I'm from sunny Southern California and what I want for Christmas is for all my children and their families to spend it at my house! Alas, it's not going to happen this year! It will be our first year with just the two us. Hopefully it will be fun!

what a great little quilt!
I'm not sure what I want for Christmas. I think I'll tell hubby I want quilting books or gift certificates to a fabric store.

Other than that, I would really love to have my whole family together for Christmas!

I am in Texas right now, and I'm getting a new washer and dryer for Christmas. It might not sound that exciting, but they're the front-loaders with steam. That will make more time for sewing for me. Yay! Love the doll quilt, and I LOVE the crinkly look. Thanks for a great giveaway.

I'm from Connecticut! But I'm originally from Taiwan! :)

For Christmas, I want a cricut machine, or a Ninja blender, or a steam mop (I watched too much informatials... can you tell? ;P) Or just a nice massage. I just had my baby girl a month ago, a massage would be really nice right about now.
